What our customers think about us....
| email Nov '08 My wife Haley and I have just had a takeaway from Cuisine of
India and we both feel that it was the best Indian meal either of us has
ever had. 100% !!! It was absolutely delicious. Duck chilli, chicken jeera,
garlic naan, mixed grill, prawn pilao, paneer shashlick, peshwari naan. It was simply fantastic cooking; hot and spicy but I could taste everything. The flavour of everthing came through and nothing was overwhelmed by chilli! I am a convert to Cuisine of India - utterly, utterly beautiful food. The chef is a genius. Thank you so much for my most enjoyable meal for a long, long time. You have blown away all other indian restaurants as far as we're concerned. Richard and Haley, Wigston. |

| email 31 Aug '08: After returning to my home town after many years away on business, what a
lovely surprise to find a restaurant in place of the Meadowbank pub. While
discussing Cuisine with friends it was highly recommended and after a quick phone call to a
colleague we were booked in. We were greeted by polite and courteous staff and a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. The meal was indeed exciting, delicious and authentic - quite breath taking in fact. I shall without doubt be recommending yourselves to friends, social and business alike. Many thanks for a first class, enjoyable and very pleasant evening. My compliments to your chef and staff who are a great credit to you. - Nick L. |

| Received by email, Apr 08: I would just like to thank you for a wonderful evening on Friday night. I was with [a large] party and we had a great time. Food was excellent, together with the service, attention to detail, restaurant setting and decor. I have to say considering there were 20 of us you did a fantastic job of getting all the food out together. This was my first visit and it certainly won't be my last. I will be recommending the cuisine of India to all my friends. Well Done! P.S The magician was a nice touch! - Clare S |

| "Based on your review of the Cuisine of India I decided to treat a business party of four to an evening meal there.
What a delight. The meal served was one of the tastiest meals I have eaten within any Indian restaurant in any county. I would like to add that the manager, Mr Syed Rahman was the best host we could have asked for and the delightful and happy staff made the experience even more enjoyable. It was such a relaxing experience with us sitting in the bar area and choosing from such a vast and what seemed to be localised menu, whilst enjoying a bottle of wine or two, then being guided through to our tables where our feast awaited. All three courses went down well with all four party members. We all opted for different dishes and had to agree to disagree that we all chose the best dish. |
We then went back through to the bar area and continued on with our heated debate on whose main course was the best. I still say my lamb naga from the specials menu was the winner, hands down. What I was surprised to see was your four-star rating for service. I would like this reassessed and put up to the five stars it thoroughly deserved. We waited about 25 minutes for our mains, as all dishes were different. I don't consider this a long wait at all. For such a vast menu, this was rather quick. I have waited far longer than that for a very sub standard meal in a very sub standard restaurant. Overall I commend the Mercury for guiding me to try this unique dining style and I shall now become a regular visitor; even though I live on the opposite side of the city." Scott Cobden |
